Where colour meets urban rhythm

Green Amazing is inspired by the patterns, energy and visual language of graffiti. Layers of intense green and jewel-like colours create a vibrant surface in which forms, movement and texture continually interact.

The richness of the oil paint gives the colours both depth and luminosity. Depending on the surrounding light, different areas of the painting come forward, while others recede, allowing the composition to shift subtly throughout the day. Even in a more subdued interior, the saturated colours retain their intensity and presence.

Rather than depicting a specific place or motif, Green Amazing captures something of the spontaneity and rhythm found in urban visual culture and transforms it through the slower, layered process of oil painting.
