Water has always, in different ways, fascinated me. Walking along a beach and looking at the sea gives a feeling of freedom, a feeling of being a part of all that is beautiful, a part of the universe, without borders. The sea gives me inner harmony and my thoughts become clearer, new ideas emerge. Sailing across the sea and feeling its forces is fantastic and dramatic, you are here and now with the sea. Ever since I was a kid, I've always tried to waste as little water as possible, I don't like it when someone just leaves the faucet running for no good, it makes me cringe. I grew up in the spirit that we should protect nature. We must protect our water, clean our oceans - water is not an infinite resource. This work, my TRUE BLUE oil painting, is my tribute to "water" and you will see several artworks in this field as "water" never ceases to fascinate me.
