Space Flower XI is an original watercolour painting on paper, created with shimmering watercolours that allow the work to change subtly with the surrounding light.

In natural daylight, the colours and forms appear soft and luminous. As the light becomes more subdued, different tones and details emerge. Under directed light, the surface comes alive with a delicate shimmer, revealing another dimension of the painting.

This interplay between colour, light and reflection is an essential part of the work. Rather than remaining visually static, Space Flower XI shifts with its surroundings, offering different impressions throughout the day.

The painting is part of my ongoing exploration of organic forms, colour and imagined botanical worlds within the Space Flower series.
