I'm often inspired by graffiti patterns. I picked up some of the details in these patterns/ formations and balanced it with the oil. Merging these two expressions has been an exciting process. Working in strong saturated jewel colors. Colors that illuminate the work, even in dark rooms, were something I decided early in the creation process.
