During a meeting with a close friend, I received a valuable advice - "Never give up on your thoughts and feelings when you create ... do not give the world what you think it wants, give them "YOU". Be true to yourself in your artistry! " For the most part, I probably am - true to myself and my surroundings ... but when I created this painting, I was not. At first, I did not include the dark and threatening forces in the work, my true feelings about the threat from our surroundings and the vicious, heinous abuses committed, all that led to how I wanted to present the work and how to weave my feelings into it ... Now I have been true to Myself, You and my Work and included everything:
"Our little reality ... our little world ... no one wanted to see ... the signals were there ... the signs were clear ... right in front of us ... among us ... a shadow ... a dark reality, in our reality ... we looked the other way ... every time ... closed our eyes to reality .... the true reality ... The Great Denial ... "
